Video Compressor

Shrink a video without installing anything: compression runs with FFmpeg inside your browser, so the file never leaves your device. Handy for sending a video by email or chat, or for putting a light one on a website.

How to use it

  1. Drop in the video (MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI or MKV).
  2. Pick the output format (MP4 H.264 or WebM VP9) and the quality.
  3. Compress and download the result, audio included.

FAQ

Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. FFmpeg runs in your browser through WebAssembly; the video is processed on your device and never sent anywhere.
How long does it take?
It depends on the length of the video and on your device. The first time FFmpeg is also downloaded, then cached for later runs.
